Meet Sanket - Mechanical Design Engineer

Sanket Kulkarni is a Mechanical Design Engineer in our Development team. He started working at Ferroamp in november 2022.
What do you do at work?
I work with development and improvement of design and assembly of our existing and upcoming products. It´s about identifying areas of weakness in the final product and make recommendations for improvement by evaluating and developing different concepts.
What makes the work at Ferroamp special for you as a mechanical engineer?
It is exciting to work with the entire development cycle from concept generation, evaluation, manufacturing to testing and also to be a part of the green transition. Solar energy is the future which also has become clear when gas deliveries are used as a weapon in war. Our technology makes it possible for more people to install solar panels and to integrate more solar energy into the grid.

What do you like the most with the EnergyHub-system?
I have worked with different inverters brands in earlier jobs, and I would say that it is the DC-grid that makes the Ferroamp system unique. It makes it possible to connect the different components with less energy losses and reduce the need of cables. I also like the modularity that makes it possible to build out or change parts without having to replace the whole system.
What do you look forward to in 2023?
It´s the scale up of production so that we can meet the demand and scarcity of inverters in the market. I also see the potential to make the brand name known not only on the Swedish market but also on the international market.
