Erik ForsbergBackend Developer – R&D
I have worked at Ferroamp Since February 2020 when I became Ferroamp's first remote worker, based in Linköping. Then came the pandemic, and suddenly remote was the new normal.
I work at Ferroamp because I started thinking about how I best could use my talents to address the biggest challenge of our time - climate change. Also, I have always been very interested in the energy sector, so finally I ended up where I belong.
I'm working with the backend systems that support the functionality of Energy Hubs at customer sites. I get to work with really interesting stuff such as Kubernetes, Kafka and Scylla. Sometimes, I also dip my toes in the embedded codebase.
In my free time I really enjoy riding my mountain bike. You feel at most alive after a nice bike ride in -16 °C.
